Next 18th March we will do a wine tasting at the brand new shop that “Isla Catavinos” opened at Polígono de C’an Valero, C/ Poima nº6 in Palma. The tasting will take place from 19h to 21 h. We will do a presentation of some of the reds and the new vintage of our white merlot. The best and most prestigious wine guide in Spain, “Guía Peñín”, admits the quality of Son Prim’s reds, giving them the highest avarage rate of winery in Mallorca, being the only winery to have all their references recommended: Son Prim CUP: 91 points, Son Prim Cabernet: 92 points, Son Prim Syrah: 90 points, Son Prim Merlot: 91 points.

Once again and for the sixth time, Son Prim will not fail to one of the most important appointments in the wine business in Europe, the international Fair, “Prowein 2011″. Will take place in Düsseldorf from the 27th to the 29th March 2011. See you there!!

Son Prim’s next vintage, 2008, begins to receive important awards. The first one has been at the Prize “Premium Select Wine Challenge 2011″, organized by “Selection Magazine” and the Fair “Prowein”. Silver Medal for Son Prim Cabernet 2008. Wine still not for sale.

Next 23th, 24th and 26th February 2011, in the city of Barcelona, we are going to participate on the “Workshop, Buyer meets IBERIAN Cellar”, organized by “Wine Pleasures”. During these days, we will dispatch and introduce our wines to wine buyers from all over the world, with the intention to join new markets and follow with the great
progression of the Export work.

Son Prim keeps on promoting Majorcan wines, together with the high quality Majorcan food. In this case, a wonderfoul food pairing will take place at the excellent Cases de Son Barbassa hotel, located in

Son Prim and the prestigious Nautic Restaurant, located at the Club Náutico de Palma, will offer a Food and Wine Pairing next 17th November. Son Prim has been selected to represent the Balearics at the Spain Gourmet Fair Tokyo 2010, which will take place next 15th and 16th September in Tokyo. We are looking to win market in potentialy attractive Asian
coutries, demanding high quality / gourmet products.

Son Prim’s new vintage 2007, is already for sale. We are working hard to keep and progress with the notable increase of the demand of our wines. Quality is our only strategy.

Son Prim Cabernet 2006 was honourd to be served as red wine, during the gala dinner which took place on the 3th June at the London Chamber of Commerce. To this dinner attempted business men and representatives from
the British and Spanish Governments.
